Kranialganglierna, also known as cranial ganglia, are collections of nerve cell bodies located outside of the central nervous system but associated with cranial nerves. These ganglia contain sensory neurons and autonomic neurons, playing crucial roles in transmitting sensory information to the brain and controlling various involuntary bodily functions.

There are two main types of cranial ganglia: sensory ganglia and autonomic ganglia.
