Keritav is a fictional town in the southern coastal region of Eloria, within the imaginary realm of Valorn. The name derives from Old Elorian words ker- meaning harbor and tav meaning light, reflecting its historical role as a beacon for sailors.

It sits on a protected bay, with wetlands to the north and gentle hills to the east. The climate is temperate maritime, with mild winters and cool summers. The population is around 12,000.

Founded as a fishing settlement in the 9th century, Keritav grew with a trading port in the 12th century. It gained municipal rights in 1350 and developed shipbuilding in the 17th century. The harbor was modernized in the 19th century, and the town expanded with rail links in the early 20th.

Keritav is governed by a nine-member municipal council and a mayor elected for four-year terms.

The local economy centers on fishing, ship repair, and crafts. The port handles regional cargo and passenger services, with rail and road links to the regional capital. Education includes one secondary school and two primary schools; healthcare is a small clinic.
