These marks are typically found in areas that were once covered by glaciers. The formation of kedjorspår is attributed to the erosive power of glacial ice, specifically the debris embedded within the ice.
As glaciers move, rocks and sediment trapped in their base and sides scrape against the underlying bedrock.
Kedjorspår are a significant indicator of past glaciation and are studied by geologists to reconstruct the
