Izbjeglice, also known as refugees, are individuals who are forced to flee their country due to persecution, war, violence, or natural disasters. They are protected by international law and are entitled to seek asylum in other countries. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is the leading agency responsible for protecting refugees and assisting their resettlement.
