Ioniserer is a term used to describe the process of ionization, or the devices and sources that produce ions. Ionization occurs when atoms or molecules gain or lose electrons, creating charged particles called ions. This can happen through various mechanisms, including electrical discharge, chemical reactions, ultraviolet or other radiation, and collisions with energetic particles.
