Interessats is a Catalan term commonly used in legal, administrative, and commercial contexts to designate individuals or groups that have a direct stake in a matter. The word translates roughly as “the interested parties” or “stakeholders” in English. The masculine plural form is interessats; feminine plural is interessades; singular forms are interessat (masculine) and interessada (feminine).

In practice, interessats are those who may be affected by decisions, who possess rights of participation, information, or objection, or who have an interest to defend in procedures such as public consultations, planning processes, procurement, or regulatory actions. Notices in official documents may refer to opportunities for interessats to submit observations, attend hearings, or challenge decisions.

Grammatical notes: Catalan adjectives and participles agree with gender and number, so interessats is used for mixed or masculine groups, while interessades is used for feminine groups.
