influyan

Influyan is the third-person plural present subjunctive form of the Spanish verb influir. It is used in subordinate clauses to express doubt, possibility, desire, or hypothetical outcomes, in contexts where the subjunctive mood is required. Influir means to influence or to have an effect on someone or something. The form influyan arises from the stem influy- plus the subjunctive ending -an; the full present-subjunctive paradigm is: yo influya, tú influyas, él influya, nosotros influyamos, vosotros influyáis, ellos influyan.

Usage notes: Influyan typically appears after verbs or expressions that require the subjunctive, such as Es
