Infleksionale is a term used in linguistics to describe a type of language or linguistic feature characterized by inflexion. Inflexion, also known as inflectional morphology, involves the modification of a word's form to express grammatical categories such as tense, mood, voice, aspect, person, number, gender, and case. This is in contrast to analytic languages, which rely more heavily on word order and auxiliary words to convey grammatical relationships.

Languages that are highly infleksionale often have a rich system of suffixes, prefixes, or internal vowel changes that attach to root words. For example, in Latin, a highly infleksionale language, a single verb can have numerous forms to indicate different subjects, tenses, and moods. Similarly, nouns in languages like Russian change their endings to show their grammatical case, which indicates their function within a sentence (e.g., subject, object, possessor).

The degree of inflexion varies significantly across languages. Some languages, like English, retain remnants of inflexion but are largely considered analytic. Other languages, such as Finnish, Turkish, and many Slavic languages, are highly infleksionale, with complex systems of affixes that can convey a great deal of grammatical information.
