ilmalämpöpumppuun
An ilmalämpöpumppu, or air source heat pump, is a type of heating and cooling system that transfers heat from the outside air to the inside of a building during the winter, and from the inside air to the outside during the summer. This process is reversed in heating and cooling modes. The primary components of an ilmalämpöpumppu are an outdoor unit containing a compressor and a coil, and an indoor unit with a fan and another coil. Refrigerant circulates between these units, absorbing heat from the warmer environment and releasing it into the cooler one.
During the heating season, the outdoor unit extracts heat from the ambient air, even when temperatures are
The efficiency of an ilmalämpöpumppu is measured by its Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) for heating
