Hyperfactors is a term used in number theory to describe a sequence of numbers that are related to factorials. While factorials are defined by the product of consecutive integers up to a given number (n! = 1 * 2 * 3 * ... * n), hyperfactors represent a more generalized concept. There isn't a single, universally agreed-upon definition of hyperfactors, but one common interpretation involves iterated multiplication or exponentiation.

For instance, the hyperfactorial H(n) is sometimes defined as the product of k raised to the power of k, for k from 1 to n. This would be H(n) = 1^1 * 2^2 * 3^3 * ... * n^n. This sequence grows much faster than the factorial sequence. Another related concept is the superfactorial, sf(n), which is the product of the first n factorials: sf(n) = 1! * 2! * 3! * ... * n!.

The study of hyperfactors and similar sequences often arises in areas of mathematics such as combinatorics, number theory, and the analysis of algorithms, where rapid growth rates are of interest. These sequences are also relevant in the context of estimating the growth rate of functions and in certain number-theoretic problems.
