Holográficos refers to anything related to holography, a technique that enables a light field, scattered and previously recorded by a photographic medium, to be reconstructed and so is able to display a three-dimensional image of the holographed object, which is without distortion and retains the information of the object's amplitude and phase. This technology has applications in various fields, including data storage, security features, and artistic displays.

The fundamental principle of holography involves splitting a laser beam into two parts: an object beam and a reference beam. The object beam illuminates the object to be recorded, and the light scattered from it interferes with the reference beam. This interference pattern, containing information about both the intensity and phase of the light waves from the object, is recorded on a photographic plate or digital sensor, creating a hologram. When the hologram is illuminated by a similar reference beam, the original light field is reconstructed, producing a three-dimensional image of the object.

Beyond traditional displays, holographic principles are being explored for advanced applications. In data storage, holographic media can potentially store vast amounts of information in a three-dimensional volume, offering much higher densities than current two-dimensional methods. Security applications utilize holograms on currency, identification cards, and product packaging to prevent counterfeiting, as replicating the complex holographic pattern is extremely difficult. The visual fidelity and immersive nature of holography also make it a compelling medium for art installations and entertainment, promising future interactive and realistic visual experiences.
