Histopatológia, a medical field, deals with the microscopic examination of diseased tissues to diagnose illnesses. It is a crucial subspecialty of pathology, which is the study of diseases. Pathologists, highly trained medical doctors, perform histopathological analysis. They meticulously examine tissue samples, known as biopsies or surgical resections, that have been removed from patients. These samples are processed through a series of steps including fixation, embedding in a solid medium, slicing into extremely thin sections, and staining with various dyes to highlight cellular structures.
