Hydratimit is a hypothetical element with the proposed chemical symbol Ht and atomic number 121. It would be the first element in the g-block of the periodic table, assuming a continuation of the Aufbau principle. If it were to exist, its electronic configuration would likely be [Og] 8s² 5g¹, although relativistic effects could significantly alter this prediction. Hydratimit would be an alkali metal if placed in Group 1, but its placement in the periodic table is highly speculative due to its extreme instability.

The existence of hydratimit has not been experimentally confirmed. The creation of superheavy elements like hydratimit would require nuclear fusion reactions involving heavy nuclei. Current accelerator technology and theoretical models suggest that the synthesis of elements with atomic numbers beyond 118 is extremely challenging and likely results in extremely short-lived isotopes. The island of stability, a theoretical region where superheavy isotopes might have longer half-lives, has not yet been reached by synthesized elements, and it is uncertain if hydratimit would fall within this region. Research into superheavy elements is ongoing, aiming to expand our understanding of nuclear physics and the limits of the periodic table.
