hemimetabolísk
Hemimetabolism is a type of incomplete metamorphosis found in insects, particularly in the orders Hemiptera, Orthoptera, and some Coleoptera. This developmental process is characterized by a gradual transformation of the nymph into the adult form, with the nymphs resembling miniature versions of the adults. Unlike holometabolous insects, which undergo a complete metamorphosis with distinct larval and pupal stages, hemimetabolous insects do not have a pupal stage. Instead, they pass through a series of nymphal stages, each of which is morphologically similar to the adult but smaller in size. During each molt, the nymph sheds its exoskeleton and grows larger, eventually reaching the adult size. This process continues until the final nymphal stage, which then molts into the adult form. Hemimetabolous insects are often referred to as "true bugs" or "hemimetabolans." Examples of hemimetabolous insects include grasshoppers, cockroaches, and true bugs.
