groothoeklenzen
Groothoeklenzen, also known as wide-angle lenses, are photographic lenses with a focal length that is smaller than normal, resulting in a wider field of view. This allows photographers to capture more of the scene in a single shot, making them ideal for landscapes, architecture, and interior photography. The wide field of view can also create a sense of depth and spaciousness, and can be used to exaggerate perspective, making foreground objects appear larger and more distant objects appear smaller. Conversely, this can also lead to distortion, particularly at the edges of the frame, with straight lines appearing curved. Fisheye lenses are an extreme type of wide-angle lens that produce significant barrel distortion, creating a circular or highly distorted image. In common usage, lenses with focal lengths typically below 35mm on a 35mm film format or full-frame digital sensor are considered wide-angle, with ultra-wide-angle lenses having even shorter focal lengths.
