Glutamatergické refers to something that involves or is related to glutamate. Glutamate is the most abundant excitatory neurotransmitter in the vertebrate nervous system. Drugs that modulate glutamatergic activity, such as NMDA receptor antagonists, are used clinically for conditions like anesthesia and to manage symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
