Globulien is a term used in speculative biology and science fiction to describe a hypothetical spherical cell or synthetic particle. It is not recognized as a real organism in conventional biology; the concept is used in theoretical discussions and world-building to explore principles of minimal life and self-assembly.

Globuliens are depicted as near-spherical entities with a semi-permeable outer membrane or shell. The interior is fluid and can contain cytoplasm-like material or dispersed colloidal particles.
