Glikozitlerdir, often referred to as glycosides, are a class of organic compounds that consist of a sugar molecule attached to another functional group. This other functional group, which can be a variety of organic molecules such as alcohols, phenols, thiols, or amines, is known as the aglycone or genin. The bond connecting the sugar (glycone) to the aglycone is called a glycosidic bond.
