Frågans is the possessive/genitive form of the Swedish noun fråga, meaning the question. It is used to indicate that something belongs to or is related to a particular question. The form is created from the definite singular fråga (the question) by adding the suffix -ns, yielding frågans.

In practice, spørgsmålet’s relation is expressed by placing frågans before the head noun that denotes what belongs to or concerns the question, for example: frågans innehåll (the content of the question), frågans form (the form of the question), or frågans svar (the answer to the question).
