frumvarpi
Frumvarpi is a term used in Icelandic parliamentary procedure. It refers to a bill or draft law that is presented to the Althing, the parliament of Iceland, for consideration. When a member of parliament or the government wishes to propose a new law or amend an existing one, they do so in the form of a frumvarpi.
The process of a frumvarpi begins with its introduction, typically by a government minister or a parliamentary
