Forgócsavaros refers to a type of screw conveyor, a mechanical handling device used for the transportation of bulk materials. In its simplest form, it consists of a helical screw rotating inside a stationary tube or trough. As the screw rotates, it pushes the material along the tube.

These conveyors are widely employed in various industries, including agriculture, food processing, chemical manufacturing, and mining. They are suitable for conveying a range of materials, from powders and granules to semi-liquids and sludges, provided the material has sufficient flowability. Forgócsavaros conveyors offer several advantages.
