Folyadékkondenzáció refers to the process where a substance in a gaseous state transitions into a liquid state. This phase change is a common phenomenon in nature and industry, driven by a decrease in temperature or an increase in pressure, or a combination of both. When a gas cools, its molecules lose kinetic energy and slow down. As they lose energy, the intermolecular forces become more significant, allowing the molecules to cluster together and form a liquid. Similarly, increasing the pressure forces the gas molecules closer together, making it easier for them to condense into a liquid.

Condensation plays a vital role in many natural cycles, such as the water cycle, where water vapor in the atmosphere cools and condenses to form clouds, which eventually lead to precipitation. In industrial processes, condensation is utilized in distillation, refrigeration, and power generation. For example, in a steam power plant, steam is condensed back into water after passing through a turbine, allowing for efficient reuse of the water. The reverse process of condensation is vaporization, where a liquid turns into a gas.
