Fasutr is a brand of fungicide used in agriculture to control fungal diseases in crops. It contains the active ingredient fthalalfic acid, which belongs to a class of compounds known as dicarboximides.

Fasutr is typically applied as a spray or dust to foliage to control a range of fungal diseases, including powdery mildew and leaf spot. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungal cells and preventing them from producing fruiting bodies. This ultimately leads to the death of the fungal spores and a decrease in disease severity.

Fasutr is often used on crops such as grapes, strawberries, and tomatoes, where fungal diseases can be significant problems. It is available in various formulations, including powder, granule, and liquid suspension concentrates. The level of uptake and occurrence of resistant fungal populations can be prevented by combining Fasutr with other fungicides or by rotational usage, reducing the likelihood of the development of resistance.

Fasutr has also been found to act as a pesticide by the systemic toxic effect mechanism in the plants it's applied to, particularly on branches, tender leaves and young stems. Despite this, little is known about the long-term effects of Fasutr exposure on plants' nectar production.
