Energiamärgi is the term used in Estonian for the official energy label that identifies the energy efficiency of products and, in some contexts, buildings. The label helps consumers compare energy use between models, estimate running costs, and encourages manufacturers to improve efficiency.

Under European Union rules, energy labeling applies to a wide range of household appliances and some construction products. The label typically shows an energy efficiency class on a scale from A to G, with A representing the most efficient option. It also provides an estimate of annual energy consumption in kilowatt-hours and product-specific information such as capacity or noise. In response to technological advances, the scale has been revised so that categories remain meaningful.

Energy labels can also appear on buildings in the form of energy performance certificates that rate overall building efficiency and estimated running costs. National authorities enforce labeling requirements and require labeling information to be visible to consumers at the point of sale or in marketing materials. The goal is to promote energy efficiency, reduce energy demand, and support environmental sustainability.
