Endogeniczne refers to geological processes that originate within the Earth and act on the crust and upper mantle. These processes are driven by internal heat from radioactive decay and by tectonic forces generated by plate movements. Endogeniczne activity results in deformation, heating, melting, and chemical changes that produce major structural and compositional features of the crust.

The principal endogeniczne processes include tectonics (the movement of lithospheric plates, mountain-building or orogeny, faulting and uplift), magmatic activity (generation of magma, intrusion of plutons, and extrusion at volcanism), and metamorphism (regional and contact metamorphism, associated with pressure, temperature changes and fluid activity). Hydrothermal processes and mineralization, driven by circulating hot fluids, are closely related to magmatic and metamorphic activity.

The surface expression of endogeniczne activity ranges from mountain belts and uplifted terrains to intrusive bodies such as batholiths, plutons, dikes, and sills, as well as metamorphic rocks with characteristic foliation. These processes operate over geological timescales and interact with exogenic processes such as weathering and erosion, shaping the long-term evolution of landscapes.

Endogeniczne activity is a central area of study in fields such as tectonics, structural geology, and petrology, helping explain crust formation, rock transformation, and the distribution of mineral resources.
