ejede
Ejede is the past tense form of the Danish verb eje, which means to own. It is used to describe possession in the simple past, for example: Han ejede huset i ti år. Jeg ejede bilen før jeg solgte den. The corresponding present tense is ejer, and the past participle is ejet, which is used with has or have to form the perfect tense, as in Jeg har ejet bilen siden 2012.
In Danish, ejede functions as a finite verb in past-tense clauses and does not indicate bidirectional ownership
The term is closely related to the general concept of ownership and its linguistic forms. Eje forms
