Physical properties: eisteroidiset are envisioned as irregularly shaped, low-density bodies with substantial volatile content. Formation and evolution: in protoplanetary disks, ices and rocks can coagulate into small bodies that retain volatile reserves. Eisteroidiset would reflect this heritage, experiencing surface evolution and possible internal changes as ices sublimate under solar heating. Collisional histories and radiation processing would further shape their appearance and activity levels.

Observation and research: the eisteroidiset concept remains speculative. Some observed objects show hints of ice or organics, but definitive classification requires more data. Future surveys and targeted missions aim to clarify their prevalence, composition, and role in planetary system evolution.
