Eesõigust is an Estonian legal term that translates to "pre-emption right" or "right of first refusal." It is a right granted to a specific person or entity to have the first opportunity to purchase a property or asset before it can be offered to anyone else. This right is typically established by contract, law, or court order.

In essence, if the owner of a property decides to sell it, they are legally obligated to offer it to the holder of the eesõigust first, on the same terms and conditions as they would offer it to a third-party buyer.
