eelkäivitusmootorid
Eelkäivitusmootorid, also known as starter motors, are electric motors used to crank and rotate an internal combustion engine to initiate the engine's operation. They are essential components in most vehicles and many other machines powered by engines. The starter motor draws electrical power from the vehicle's battery and uses it to turn the engine's crankshaft. This initial rotation allows the engine's pistons to move, drawing in fuel and air, compressing the mixture, and igniting it, thus starting the engine's own power cycle. Once the engine starts running on its own, the starter motor disengages.
There are several common types of starter motors. The most prevalent is the permanent magnet DC motor.
