Doseeritavad is an Estonian term used to describe substances or formulations that can be administered in defined, measurable doses. In medical and pharmaceutical contexts, the concept emphasizes that the quantity given to a patient is precisely controlled and standardized for each administration, as opposed to irregular or continuous dosing.

The word derives from the verb doseerida, meaning to dose, with the participial suffix -tav forming the adjective doseeritav and the plural ending -ad in doseeritavad. In practice, doseeritavad resources include medications with fixed dosing units such as tablets, capsules, pre-measured injections, or metered-dose inhalers, where a single unit contains a specific amount of active substance.

Doseeritavad formulations support dosing accuracy, reproducibility, and safety, and they are central to pharmacokinetics and dose–response considerations. They are particularly important in contexts requiring strict adherence to prescribed amounts, such as pediatric dosing, geriatric care, and therapies with narrow therapeutic windows. While many doseeritavad products offer fixed doses, some treatment plans still involve titration or individualized dosing adjustments based on patient response or laboratory data.

In contrast, substances or regimens that rely on continuous or non-standardized administration may be described as non-doseeritavad. The concept underpins labeling, administration guidance, and regulatory standards for dosage accuracy in pharmaceuticals.
