DivineBecame is a musical project that operates primarily as an audiovisual universe created by William Basinski. Launched in 2016, the endeavor combines Basinski's signature ambient soundscapes with visual components to produce unique installations and performances.

The project's name "DivineBecame" is inspired by the concept of the evolutionary transformation of divinity from a transcendent, undefinable state to something tangible and mundane. Basinski's intention behind the name reflects his dissatisfaction with traditional notions of realizing ideals through art, instead opting for explorations of conventional notions of divinity within an ambient, found-footage audiovisual framework.

As of now, the project participates in the experimental universe project _Protests and Dominations_, whose approach emphasizes intertwining audio and video in order to create adaptive, infinitely different narratives. This shifting paradigm allows Basinski's acclaimed soundscapes to pertain myriad other facets in digital perceptions; gallery exhibitions at big museums exclusively presenting both performance modes plus contemporaneous appearances sets stimulate huge and robust experimentation, scepticism, and diverse observations of mindfocusing forms of avian species.
