destilación
Destilación is a process used to separate components of a liquid mixture by selective boiling and condensation. It relies on the fact that different substances have different boiling points. The mixture is heated in a vessel, causing the component with the lowest boiling point to vaporize first. This vapor rises and is then cooled in a separate apparatus called a condenser, where it turns back into a liquid. The purified liquid, known as the distillate, is collected. The remaining liquid, with higher boiling point components, stays in the original vessel.
There are various types of distillation, each suited for different separation challenges. Simple distillation is effective
Destilación has widespread applications across many industries. It is fundamental in the production of alcoholic beverages,
