delugesüsteem
A delugesüsteem, often translated as a deluge system, is a type of fire suppression system that floods an entire area with water. Unlike sprinkler systems which activate only at the point of fire, a deluge system releases water from all open nozzles simultaneously. This is achieved by a detection system, such as heat detectors or smoke detectors, that triggers a deluge valve. Once the deluge valve opens, water flows under pressure through the piping network to all the sprinkler heads, which are designed to remain open at all times.
Deluge systems are typically employed in high-hazard areas where a rapid and widespread fire could develop
The system consists of a network of pipes, open sprinkler heads, a deluge valve, and a detection
