It serves as an attachment for the brachialis muscle and contributes to elbow stability during flexion. Ulna coronoid fractures are clinically significant because they can accompany elbow dislocations and affect joint stability and motion. Diagnosis is typically made radiographically or with CT, and treatment ranges from immobilization to surgical fixation depending on severity.
