Combinatievoeders (Dutch for "compound feeds" or "mixed feeds") are formulated feed products composed of several raw materials and feed additives blended to meet the nutritional requirements of specific groups of farm animals. They typically combine energy sources (grains, by-products), protein sources (soybean meal, rapeseed), minerals, vitamins and permitted additives such as enzymes, probiotics and preservatives.

These feeds are produced in feed mills where ingredients are selected, milled, mixed and often pelleted or crumbled to improve handling and intake. Formulations vary by species and production stage—poultry starter, pig grower, dairy ration—and are based on nutritional science to provide balanced levels of protein, amino acids, energy, minerals and vitamins.

Combinatievoeders are subject to food and feed safety regulations at national and supranational levels (for example EU feed legislation), which cover ingredient sourcing, labeling, maximum levels for certain substances and the use of additives. Quality assurance systems such as HACCP and industry standards like GMP+ are commonly applied to ensure product safety and traceability.

Economically, combination feeds offer convenience and consistency, enabling efficient livestock production. Environmentally, their formulation can influence nutrient excretion and the sustainability of ingredient sourcing; therefore, there is growing interest in using alternative protein sources and precision feeding to reduce environmental impact.
