Chromaffiinisolut, also known as chromaffin cells, are specialized neuroendocrine cells found primarily in the adrenal medulla of the adrenal glands. These cells are responsible for the synthesis, storage, and secretion of catecholamines, namely epinephrine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine (noradrenaline).
