bácska
Bácska, in Hungarian usage, is the name for the region commonly known in Serbian as Bačka. It is a geographic and historical area in the northern Pannonian Plain, largely within present-day Serbia, in the autonomous province of Vojvodina. The region lies between the Danube River to the north and the Tisa River to the west, with its interior extending toward central Vojvodina.
