Butylowych is a grammatical form in Polish—the genitive plural of the adjective butylowy. In chemistry texts it is used to describe compounds, substituents or aspects related to butyl groups. A butyl group is a four-carbon alkyl substituent derived from butane by removing one hydrogen.
