Bilobulación refers to a condition where an organ or a structure is divided into two lobes. This can occur naturally as a normal anatomical feature or as a result of a developmental anomaly or pathological process. In normal anatomy, many organs exhibit bilobation. For instance, the lungs are bilobulated, with the right lung having three lobes and the left lung having two lobes. Similarly, some glands, like the salivary glands, can have distinct lobules.
However, bilobulation can also be an abnormal finding. In some congenital conditions, organs that are not typically
