belélegzési
Belélegzés is a Hungarian term that translates to "inhalation" or "breathing in" in English. It refers to the process of drawing air into the lungs. This is one of the two primary phases of respiration, the other being kilélegzés (exhalation). During belélegzés, the diaphragm contracts and moves downward, while the intercostal muscles contract, lifting the rib cage upward and outward. These actions increase the volume of the thoracic cavity, which in turn decreases the pressure within the lungs. As a result, air flows from the higher atmospheric pressure outside the body into the lower pressure within the lungs, bringing oxygen. This vital process is essential for life, as it provides the body with the oxygen needed for cellular respiration and energy production. The rate and depth of belélegzés can vary depending on factors such as physical activity, emotional state, and overall health.
