Atomskoostumus, also known as atomic structure, refers to the composition and arrangement of particles within an atom. At the core of every atom lies the nucleus, which is composed of protons and neutrons. Protons carry a positive charge, while neutrons are electrically neutral. The number of protons in an atom's nucleus determines its atomic number, which defines the element. For example, all hydrogen atoms have one proton, while all helium atoms have two protons.
