Atmoszférának, also known as the atmosphere, is the layer of gases surrounding a planet or other material body, that is held in place by the gravity of that body. On Earth, the atmosphere is composed primarily of nitrogen (about 78%) and oxygen (about 21%), with trace amounts of other gases such as argon, carbon dioxide, and water vapor. The atmosphere serves several crucial functions, including regulating temperature, protecting against harmful solar radiation, and facilitating weather patterns.

The Earth's atmosphere is divided into several layers based on temperature changes. The troposphere is the lowest layer, where weather phenomena occur and where most of the Earth's weather is generated. The mesosphere and thermosphere are the next layers, characterized by increasing temperatures with altitude. The exosphere is the outermost layer, where the atmosphere gradually transitions into the vacuum of space.
