arazilerde

Arazilerde is a Turkish locative form meaning “in the lands” or “on the lands.” It is formed from the noun arazi (land, terrain) plus the plural suffix -ler to create araziler (lands, plots) and the locative suffix -de, which in this combination becomes -lerde when the plural ending is present. The result arazilerde literally indicates location across multiple parcels of land and is used to describe where an action occurs or where a state exists.

In Turkish, the locative case answers questions such as where something happens (“in/on/at”). Arazilerde therefore can be used in legal, geographic, agricultural, real estate, and descriptive contexts to refer to activities or conditions taking place across several lands. The form also appears in possessive and adjectival derivatives, such as arazilerdeki (in the lands’ / on the lands’), which can modify nouns to indicate that something belongs to or is located within those lands.
