Anturakot is a town and administrative district in the northern region of Valoria, situated along the Lunen River near the foothills of the Verdan Range. It functions as the capital of the surrounding rural municipality and provides regional services, education facilities, and transport connections for the area.

The settlement originated as a medieval market crossing on the river and grew steadily through trade and agriculture. It received its municipal charter in the 18th century and expanded with the introduction of mills and rail links in the 19th century. Historic core neighborhoods preserve much of the early street pattern.

Geographically, Anturakot lies on level to gently rolling terrain with a temperate climate, characterized by warm summers and cold, snowy winters. Farmland surrounds the town, with small forests on the periphery and scenic views of the Verdan Range to the west.
