alleelia
Alleelia is a small, little‑known genus of perennial flowering plants that belongs to the family Liliaceae. The genus was first described in 1875 by the German botanist Karl Heinrich von Reichenbach, who collected specimens from the central Anatolian region of Turkey. Current taxonomy includes two formally recognized species: Alleelia caerulea and Alleelia albiflora.
Morphologically, members of the genus are herbaceous perennials with a basal rosette of long, narrow leaves.
