Aksillaris is a term encountered in several languages that refers to the axilla, or armpit, or to structures associated with it. It derives from the Latin axilla, with the suffix -aris forming an adjective meaning “pertaining to.” In English, the corresponding adjective is usually axillary, while aksillaris may appear in non-English texts or as a direct transliteration of the Latin form.

In anatomy, the axilla is the pyramidal space beneath the glenohumeral joint, serving as the passage for vessels and nerves from the neck to the upper limb. It contains the axillary artery and vein, components of the brachial plexus, and a network of lymph nodes. Terms describing this region use the root axill- or axill-, such as axillary lymph nodes or axillary artery.
