Aeroplanë, also known as Albanian International Airlines, was the national airline of Albania from 1947 to 2007. The airline was founded on May 11, 1947, and was headquartered in Tirana, the capital city of Albania.

Initially, Aeroplanë was a small airline with a few domestic and international routes. Over the years, the airline underwent significant changes and expansions, introducing new aircraft and routes. In the 1960s and 1970s, Aeroplanë began to operate charter flights to Europe, and by the 1980s, it had established regular flights to major cities in the region.

Aeroplanë operated a fleet of aircraft, including the Antonov An-24, Tupolev Tu-134, and Yakovlev Yak-40. The airline's main hub was Tirana International Airport, which was also the country's primary airport. In addition to its scheduled services, Aeroplanë also offered charter flights to various destinations, including tourist resorts in the Mediterranean.

Financial struggles and decreased demand led to Aeroplanë's demise in 2007. The airline ceased operations on February 26, 2007, marking the end of Albania's national carrier. The company's assets, including its fleet and routes, were subsequently transferred to other airlines. Today, the aviation industry in Albania is dominated by private carriers and low-cost airlines.
