acromantulas

Acromantulas are enormous, sentient spiders capable of human speech. They are native to the dense rainforests of Borneo. These creatures are characterized by their thick black hair, pincers that click menacingly, and multiple pairs of glowing eyes, typically eight. Acromantulas are carnivorous and have a particular taste for large prey, including humans. They are highly intelligent and possess a complex social structure, living in large colonies ruled by a single giant matriarch. Their venom is potent, causing paralysis and hallucinations. Despite their fearsome nature, Acromantulas can be tamed and controlled by skilled wizards, though this is a dangerous undertaking. Their silk is strong and used in some magical applications. Acromantulas are known for their aggressive territoriality and will attack any intruders in their domain. They lay large, leathery eggs, which are considered a Class B Non-Tradeable<bos>t. The care and keeping of Acromantulas are regulated by the Ministry of Magic.
