accessoarmuskler
The accessorius arm muscle, also known as the anconeus, is a small, triangular muscle located in the posterior compartment of the forearm. It is one of the superficial muscles of the forearm and is innervated by the radial nerve. The anconeus originates from the lateral epicondyle of the humerus and inserts onto the posterior surface of the ulna. Its primary function is to extend the wrist joint, contributing to the extension of the forearm at the elbow joint. The anconeus also plays a role in the supination of the forearm, assisting in the rotation of the forearm so that the palm faces upwards. This muscle is often palpable in the posterior aspect of the forearm and can be tested for function during a physical examination. The anconeus is a relatively small muscle, but its actions are crucial for certain movements of the upper extremity.
