absorboisivat is a technical term used in environmental science and materials engineering to describe a combined process of adsorption and isolation. The process is designed to capture pollutants from a medium—such as gases or liquids—and hold them within a micro‑structured matrix to prevent further release. Unlike conventional adsorption, which merely collects contaminants on a surface, absorboisivat adds a kinetic isolation layer that immobilises the captured molecules through cross‑linking, polymerisation or other chemisorption techniques.

The concept was first introduced by Dr. H. Kramer at the Institute for Advanced Materials in 2023 and has since been adopted in industrial water treatment, air purification systems and hazardous waste containment. Typical absorboisivat materials are porous carbons, metal‑organic frameworks or engineered aerogels that have functionalised surfaces.
